Brian Edwards is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of TerraCRG. As the Chief Operating Officer, Brian oversees finance, technology, human resources, and operations. Brian was a member of the management team that acquired and restored the TerraCRG headquarters on Dean Street that won the prestigious 2016 Building Brooklyn Award for Adaptive Re-use.

Before joining TerraCRG, Brian spent nine years as an investor and consultant on several residential development projects including Historic Front Street in Manhattan’s South Street Seaport Historic District, 307 Atlantic Avenue (The Atlantic Stamp Building) in Brooklyn, and 264 Water Street in Manhattan. Prior to that, Brian spent 13 years as Executive Director of Leasing and Co-Director of Project Marketing for The Halstead Property Company (now Brown Harris Stevens) where he managed 175 brokers and worked closely with a wide array of landlords and developers. During his tenure, Brian marketed over 30 new residential projects and advised national REIT’s, developers and institutions including AIMCO, Zuberry Associates, Bernard Spitzer, SCIAME Developers, Citi Habitats and New York Presbyterian Hospital on residential real estate matters.

Originally from Minnesota, Brian attended Columbia College where he was a D1 high jumper on the track and field team.  Brian is an active hiker, trekker, and climber and has completed over 800 miles of the Appalachian Trail as a section hiker (Trail Name: Gr8ful Wanderer) and multiple 14’ers in Colorado.  An admitted “hoopaholic” and father of a Duke Cameron Crazie, Brian lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with his wife who patiently waits for him to come home injury free from his weekly Saturday morning basketball game.  An Eagle Scout Dad, Brian is the passionate Scoutmaster of Troop 662, Manhattan’s largest Boy Scout Troop sponsored by The Brick Church.
