A Queens company has purchased an industrial site in East Williamsburg just a few days after selling one of its own sites to logistics giant Prologis.
J&R Acquisitions bought 1301 Metropolitan Ave. for about $18.2 million from Peabody Webster Holdings, according to Brooklyn brokerage TerraCRG. The TerraCRG team of Dan Marks, Daniel Lebor and Robert Finnerty represented both parties in the deal.
“1301 Metropolitan is located in an industrial area that has seen a tremendous amount of sales and leasing activity over the past few years,” Marks said. “The scale of this transaction bodes well for the strength of the industrial market in the second half of the year.”
