TerraCRG has been at the forefront of Brooklyn’s transformation for nearly two decades, responsible for over $3 Billion dollars of transactional volume in the process.

Joining our Team as the sole in-house debt and equity placement agent is an excellent position to be in the midst of all the action. The Director, Capital Markets, Debt and Equity placement will be sourcing equity and debt for a variety of projects ranging from ground up housing development projects to existing industrial assets. The Director will be working in an energetic, demanding, and collaborative environment and working closely with the Company Leadership team executing transactions.

Specifics

· This is an independent contractor, 100% commission only based position, offering significant un-capped earning potential with the target capital sourcing in first year of $100M.

· On-site in the TerraCRG office at 634 Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY

· You will continue to develop your professional expertise in business development through structured training sessions, real-time on the job training, and industry leader observation.

Role/Responsibilities

· Source equity and debt from Private Debt Funds, Private Equity Funds, Family Offices and High Net worth

· Network consistently and develop relationship with capital providers

· Develop a deep understanding of the Debt and Equity landscape

· Organize and track data, coupled with relevant CRE software and systems training

· Generate new opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and identifying new capital providers

· Track criteria’s per capital provider on an on-going basis

· Conduct financial analysis and underwriting/debt sizing of commercial real estate

· Become active in the capital markets and real estate community, attending networking and industry events

· Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership team

Qualifications

· Preferred to have at least 5-year relevant business experience in capital markets / debt / equity origination or private equity

· Hands-on underwriting and complex modeling experience

· Must secure and maintain a New York State real estate license; Salesperson or Associate Broker (not required for interview process)

· Must be passionate about Private Equity and NYC real estate market

· Must be coachable and receptive to feedback

· Must be a team player with integrity

· Must be comfortable with hands-on sales and marketing activities including extensive cold calling

· Must have superb organization skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

· Must possess excellent communication skills; written and spoken

· A bachelor’s or master’s degree in real estate or finance is helpful but not required
