Prospect Heights merchants on Vanderbilt, on the southeastern edge of the development, have been waiting for thousands of new residents to settle at the 22-acre development, now called Pacific Park Brooklyn, and stream into their shops.
“If you’re a restaurateur and you just make ends meet, suddenly you have an opportunity to make real money,” said Ofer Cohen, the president of TerraCRG, a real estate brokerage based in Prospect Heights. “And I feel like it’s already started to happen.”
