Romain Sinclair is a commercial real estate broker and advisor to investors in New York City focused on the Brooklyn multifamily market. He began his career as a consultant with Accenture’s strategy consulting group but soon shifted to real estate, driven by a natural entrepreneurial calling. Prior to joining TerraCRG, Romain worked in business and new market development for national capital markets firm Greysteel, where he played a key role in expanding the firm’s presence in the New York region.

Romain’s expertise spans asset valuation and underwriting, full investment sales services (from deal origination to closing), leading value-generating strategies, brand management, commercial mortgage negotiations, special purpose LLC formations, and managing end-to-end 1031 exchanges. Over the years, he has helped his clients save millions in capital gains taxes through strategic 1031 exchanges.

He shares his thought leadership and deep knowledge of the New York City multifamily market through his widely followed weekly newsletter, which is subscribed to by over 11,000 real estate professionals. Investors frequently invite Romain to present his expertise to their teams, and his market op-eds and commentaries have been featured in prominent outlets including Crain’s New York BusinessNorth-East Multifamily & Affordable Housing, and CRE Daily.

A native New Yorker with an international background, Romain has the ability to connect with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. He attended the Dragon Preparatory School in Oxford, UK, the École International Bilingue in Paris, France, and York Preparatory in New York City. He also returned to Cherwell College School in Oxford for his Oxbridge Preparatory Studies in 2010. Romain is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Kellogg School of Management, with a year of study at the Institut d’études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in France.

Romain currently resides in Manhattan and enjoys traveling, skiing, racket sports, and meeting new people. He is deeply passionate about real estate brokerage, sales, and business development.
