This is an opportunity to join TerraCRG; the only commercial real estate brokerage firm focused exclusively on the Brooklyn market. TerraCRG has been at the forefront of Brooklyn’s transformation for nearly two decades, responsible for over $3 Billion of transactional volume in the process. The firm — 22 people strong and growing — has marketed 800+ properties and consistently closes over 50 Brooklyn transactions a year.

Joining our team as a Marketing Associate will provide you with the experience of working in an energetic, demanding, and collaborative environment, gaining immediate exposure to the various aspects of commercial real estate brokerage while enhancing our company-wide branding and marketing collateral on an active pipeline of sales and leasing assignments.

The Marketing Associate will work directly alongside our highly successful and tenured transaction professionals and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. They will continue to expand the firm’s branding and marketing design across all channels. The position is situated at the heart of everything the company is involved with and, as such, it is instrumental for the candidate to be knowledgeable and passionate about Brooklyn real estate.

Specifics

  • On-site in the TerraCRG office at 634 Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY
  • You will develop your professional expertise in business development through structured training sessions, real-time on the job training, and industry leader observation.

Role/Responsibilities

The Marketing Associate will help with the execution of the firm’s marketing plan, working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, and servicing the sales and leasing teams with a focus on the following four core areas:

  1. Digital Marketing (including but not limited to social media, email blasts, online advertising, website updates, etc.)
  2. Graphic Design (including the creation of marketing collateral for all sales and leasing assignments, updating existing templates, create corporate marketing pieces, and interface with external design firms while maintaining the TerraCRG brand guidelines and thriving to enhance quality and integrity)
  3. Marketing Coordination (including the coordination and centralization of all marketing projects between sales/leasing teams, marketing, and management, create weekly and monthly activity reports, etc.)
  4. Special Projects (including the annual Only Brooklyn conference production, podcast, creation of innovative marketing elements and new projects)

Qualifications

  • Must have experience with graphic design and strong sense of branding/marketing
  • Must have superb organization skills, proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Office, and Outlook
  • Must be passionate about marketing, and the Brooklyn real estate market
  • Must be coachable; being comfortable expressing their creativeness while being able to handle constructive criticism in a respectful manner
  • Must be a team player with excellent people skills
  • Must have strong written and communication skills
  • Will be comfortable with adhering to strict deadlines that may be placed upon them
  • Will be comfortable with hands-on data and marketing activities including extensive market research
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a real estate design & marketing role in an agency, real estate development firm or brokerage firm is helpful but not required

Compensation

  1. Base Compensation
    1. During the term of your employment, you will earn a base annualized guaranteed salary (“Base) of $75,000.00 to be paid in semi-monthly payments
  1. Bonus
    1. Discretionary year-end bonus based on performance and profitability of the firm
